Approved Plans
With the growing needs of Muslims in Victoria the new plans will help service this with a refurbished and updated Islamic Funeral Services area, an open space for health services, domestic violence assistance, as well as creating space for our youth to be connected.
The funds raised will be used purely for the building purposes of the masjid. To assist with human congestion during popular prayer times, there will be more prayer space. Upstairs, there will be dedicated space for school programs, Quran/language school, conference rooms, office space, lecture theatre as well as an open feel environment for additional space to pray for women and men. Downstairs, we have added a cafe, bookshop and expanded the Islamic Funeral Services for the growing demand of the Muslim community.
